Joe Lieberman stopped being a Democrat when his bid for the presidential nomination failed. That is why Ned Lamont ran and why he won the primary. Many older CT Dems didn’t understand how far from the party JL had flown. Many of them rallied to help him win as an independent ala Lowell Weicker. Think maybe they have noticed by now that JL is no LW?
